The fourteenth wave of the ongoing study by AMC Global (an international custom market research firm specializing in launch strategies and brand tracking) and OpinionRoute (a leader in insights process management) was released today. The research showed that summer get-togethers in the United States are different in 2020, with virtual and socially distanced gatherings high on the list of activities. More than half of the respondents report restaurant outings, mostly indoors. And, while most report staying in touch with close family, the pandemic is negatively impacting the ability to connect with friends and extended family over the summer.
New results will now be released every other Thursday based on the previous week’s polling of U.S.-based general population of primary purchasers age 21+.
A complete representation of the data can be found here. New results and findings will be released on August 13. The study findings are designed to help clients and industry leaders navigate quickly changing consumer behavior during the pandemic
